UFO Afrinews No6 (July 1992) — layered military accounts and later tabloid retractions

Cynthia Hind. files.afu.se. July 1992.

Radio callers describe a daughter’s alleged invitation and unnamed military encounters, with missing originals and Hind’s skeptical responses preserved. A book review relays claims of official cooperation while questioning their reliability. Two tabloid tales reproduced here were explicitly retracted as fabricated in No10. Witness revisions, unachieved follow-ups and ordinary explanations remain attributed; reported contact does not establish a classified programme or material access.

UFO Afrinews No5 (January 1992) — revised testimony and disputed Kalahari contacts

Cynthia Hind. files.afu.se. January 1992.

Hind revisits witness accounts and the disputed Kalahari story, preserving missing replies, revised ages and descriptions, alleged threats and competing interpretations. The security claims pass through unnamed callers and intermediaries. A reported confession rejects Van Greunen’s claimed rank and participation while describing unnamed sources; it does not authenticate the underlying event. Negative observations and unachieved follow-ups remain visible.

Forbidden Science: Journals 1957–1969 (1992 edition)

Jacques Vallee. jacquesvallee.net. 1992.

Vallée’s edited journals describe astronomical work, research correspondence and government-related contacts. Personal participation, relayed stories and speculative interpretations remain distinct. Failed proposals, revised attributions and ordinary explanations accompany unexplained reports; the diary does not authenticate the underlying agency records.

UFO Afrinews No4 (February 1991) — alleged military assignment and limited soil findings

Cynthia Hind, Maria Sullivan, Prier Wintle. files.afu.se. February 1991.

The issue relays an unnamed Brazilian photographer’s alleged naval assignment through an investigator and Irene Granchi, while Hind questions dates and offers competing explanations. It preserves a counteraccount about a film reportedly examined and returned by the US Air Force. Witness accounts, a language critique and a small soil table retain their limitations. Wintle’s review describes claimed Brazilian military involvement through Vallée’s book, with original orders and records absent.

UFO Afrinews No3 (May 1990) — threatened investigation and untested accounts

Cynthia Hind, Hilary Evans, Prier Wintle. files.afu.se. May 1990.

Hind reports an anonymous threat and an invitation that did not lead to the planned meeting, alongside criticism of the Kalahari crash story. Evans offers several possible explanations for UFO reports. Other accounts include a witness reporting to a commanding officer and Henry’s recollections of technical conversations. Missing records, ordinary alternatives, source corrections and untested claims remain explicit. The supplied book reviews do not substitute for the books.

UFO Afrinews No2 — failed checks and an official disagreement

Cynthia Hind, Maria Sullivan, Prier Wintle. files.afu.se. 1989.

Hind describes failed witness and record checks, competing dream interpretations and a reported disagreement with an Air Force commander over a weather-balloon explanation. A visit to investigate Henry’s account found geographical similarities but no registration or employer confirmation. Reconstructed drawings, retrospective testimony and an untested technical story remain qualified. Sullivan’s essay is speculation, and Wintle’s review is distinct from the book it discusses.

UFO Afrinews No1 (July 1988, first reprint) — official denials and uncertain access

Cynthia Hind, Maria Sullivan, Prier Wintle. files.afu.se. July 1988.

Hind recounts police testimony and contrary laboratory claims at Rosmead, says she has access to unnamed governmental psychologists, and publishes a former consul’s personal sighting account. Proposed cooperation and reported official roles do not establish programme access. Retrospective sleep-related reports, prompted recollections, ordinary alternatives and negative searches remain explicit. The accompanying book review and evolutionary essay are distinct from verified clinical or technical findings.

UFOs and the Extraterrestrial Contact Movement, Volume One — selected chapters

George M. Eberhart. cufos.org. 1986.

Eberhart maps literature, light reports, propulsion, radar, encounters, abduction, retrieval, effects, animal and space reports. Moore/Stringfield, Cash–Landrum, Gill and government-interest stories retain attribution and unread originals. Maritime, Tunguska, lunar and early historical interpretations retain ordinary alternatives, fiction and source cautions. J. Gordon Melton signs the religious introduction; psychic hypotheses and public-belief titles are distinct from clinical findings or event proof. Editions, replies, unseen originals and poll-title numbers remain qualified. Bibliography titles establish no alien artifact, secret access or completed original study.
