Martin T. Orne, David F. Dinges, Emily Carota Orne. ojp.gov. December 1984.
Orne, Dinges and Orne’s December 1984 NIJ brief separates confidence and detail from accurate memory, describes risks of suggestion and confabulation, and allows a qualified role for investigative leads while opposing court testimony based on hypnosis. Its safeguards document sessions without guaranteeing accurate recollection. This is a historical review, not a new UFO study or current legal/clinical guidance. Public grant support and agency hosting do not establish a secret programme or agency endorsement of every author conclusion.

Hynek recounts his investigation work, a reported Air Force invitation and consultancy, and encounters with witnesses. He distinguishes secondhand reports from his own ambiguous observations and considers ordinary explanations. The reviewed book accounts do not independently authenticate appointments, original correspondence, case evidence or classified access.
■ Supplied OCR; all 341 retained scan layouts viewed
Hynek’s congressional statement includes an earlier optical-science article. This record separates the supplied statement transcription, the embedded article and supplementary publisher bibliography. Shared renditions do not provide independent corroboration or authenticate the original journal pages.
■ Supplied statement transcription read; original journal pages unavailable
NICAP’s compilation combines witness reports, sketches, photo reproductions and hypothetical diagrams. Forty-six selected embedded images have been viewed across eight preserved packets. Controls and compiler taxonomy add visual context. Map timings and close-up reconstructions retain uncertainties; original negatives, calibration and held agency records remain gaps.

George C. McDonald. riderinstitute.org. August 29, 1945.
The supplied transcription of McDonald’s August1945 report describes a preliminary underground-facility survey and six appendix locations. It distinguishes observations, structural inferences and recommendations. A proposed nuclear experiment is not a completed test. This dated report is separate from the November interrogation-arrangements letter.
■ Complete selected report transcription and map; original text images absent
The reproduced May1945 memo explicitly lists Kammler among personnel held for interrogation. It also describes ordinary technical intelligence collection, with acquired, planned, incomplete and untested items kept distinct. The held-list wording is stronger than a future interview request, but this reproduction does not independently authenticate custody or establish a UAP programme.
■ Complete selected reproduced memo; original archive and fine-detail gaps
Selected diary entries from July 1676 describe an inward spiritual vision and its theological interpretation. A modern transcription supplies a readable diagram key related to the Jane Lead illustration later reproduced in Wonders in the Sky; the original historical facsimile remains missing.
