Vallée’s edited journals describe astronomical work, research correspondence and government-related contacts. Personal participation, relayed stories and speculative interpretations remain distinct. Failed proposals, revised attributions and ordinary explanations accompany unexplained reports; the diary does not authenticate the underlying agency records.

What we checked
The entire received 1992 second-edition text was previously read by root: four parts, 20 chapters, foreword, epilogue, notes and index across 479 PDF leaves. Whole native layouts now have actual review evidence for all 479 leaves, by specialists and selected root views. Fine glyphs, rendition defects and physical-original fidelity remain unresolved. The author-owned link is a bibliographic reference, not the book body. Historical text completion is not a new book completion today.

- Original unedited journals, deleted passages, authenticated correspondence, agency records, raw measurements, tapes, photographs and custody evidence are incomplete or unreceived. Invitations, institutional affiliations and reported approaches do not establish programme access or claim truth.
- Physical collation, fine glyphs, host permission for the private received copy and the cause of a partially blank native leaf remain unknown. Edited diary dates, remembered conversations and multilevel anonymous relays require source-specific qualification.
- The publisher also lists a different 490-page edition, ISBN 9781938398766, with a Pentacle appendix and 20 illustrations. That edition’s body was not received or equated with this 1992 copy; the appearance and original-document census remains open.
