A multi-omics spatial framework for host-microbiome dissection within the intestinal tissue microenvironment
This mouse-intestine study combines spatial imaging, gene-expression and glycan measurements to examine inflammation-associated patterns. Its many cells and regions come from eight main-cohort mice, and correlations do not establish microbial causation or clinical performance. Nolan is a corresponding author and joint supervisor. The reviewed scope is partial, with biological-validation sections and Methods excluded; public support and commercial disclosures do not establish a UAP programme or private approach.

How we check sources
Not checked yet
- Main cohort: eight female six-week mice; 202 fields, 126,426 cells, 350 regions and 51 sections are nested measurements. Additional animal counts remain unreviewed.
- Adjacent-section alignment, signal bleed-through and small bacterial panel limit inference. Human-tissue validation was beyond scope.
- Selected correlations and condition-specific nulls remain; proximity and coexpression do not prove recruitment, signalling or microbial causation.
- Classifier values, animal-grouped splits, stacking/leakage controls and independent validation are unverified within this partial scope, not proven absent.
- Nolan is author 14 of 15, corresponding author/joint supervisor. His endowed professorship is distinct from other authors’ public grants; patent/commercial disclosures are not a financial audit or secret approach.
- Sec4/Sec10/all Methods, seven graphics, supplements, source data, code, reviews and cited originals unreviewed. No individual patient records or clinical advice.
