UFO Afrinews No15 (January 1997) — Varginha relays and later testimony qualifications
The January 1997 issue preserves a layered Varginha report, a doctor’s denial and an explicitly uncertain story about alleged secret Mars photographs. Cammack later qualifies her memory of Howe’s remarks. Hind also discusses disputed media coverage, witness interpretations and missing original records.

Read all 79,787 extracted characters across 24 received PDF leaves; viewed six native layouts (1,2,11,12,20,23), including all three numbered figures. Eighteen other native layouts and fine glyph precision remain unreviewed. Native 1½ metres differs from mangled OCR. Original records, recordings and custody remain outside the received issue. January 1997 is the issue month; event and interview dates differ. Cammack’s letter adds a later qualification to S7650.

How we check sources
Not checked yet
- Eighteen other native layouts, fine glyph detail, original broadcasts/interviews, police/army/hospital files, photographs, video, telemetry and custody records remain unreviewed. The received issue is not a complete book or conference recording.
- Varginha statements depend on unnamed military and hospital speakers relayed through investigators; Palhares’s denial is retained. The Mars-photo conversation lacks names, date or originals and may have been a joke. Neither establishes programme access or custody.
- Cammack says her memory of Howe’s exact words is unreliable and her notes add little detail. Earlier wording and anonymous-source attribution remain preserved; original audio and proceedings were not received.
- Witness reports include pseudonyms, delayed or delegated interviews, disputed identities, sleep experiences and an explicit dream. Diagrams and sincere accounts do not establish causation or independent corroboration. Historical medical anecdotes and book listings receive no clinical or complete-book credit.
