Multimodal Analysis of Composition and Spatial Architecture in Human Squamous Cell Carcinoma

The authors combine sequencing and imaging to describe selected squamous-cancer tissue, including a tumour-specific keratinocyte population. Cells, spots and fields depend on small patient subsets. Predicted interactions and proximity do not establish causal immune suppression. A linked correction repairs duplicated and mislabeled figure material; its unchanged-conclusions statement is attributed to the authors.

What we checked

Read134,922 XML characters in17 complete returns,100 references,15 captions,161 resource cells with24 blanks and two inline MathML objects. Viewed15 meaningful figures and four original/corrected images from the linked2,281-character notice. Read all156 S5 antibody-table cells. Preserved Nolan’s guidance and manuscript input, Ionpath ownership and patent disclosure. Main July23 and body June23 publication statements remain distinct. Root read all510 native S3 spreadsheet cells, including two blanks and100 gene rows, in four complete returns. The normal and tumour reference populations remain distinct; workbook styles and layouts were not viewed.

How we check sources

Not checked yet

  • Four supplementary spreadsheets, original main layout, original temperature-symbol bitmap, S5 document layout, workbook styles and layouts, raw datasets and code remain unread. Dense numerical matrices and fine visual details are not exhaustively transcribed. S5 lacks promised isotope and concentration columns; those values remain unknown.
  • Ten paired patients have different assay subsets. Nested cells, spots, tiles and selected fields do not create large independent cohorts. Ligand-receptor predictions and proximity are not direct causal binding or suppression. Immunodeficient-mouse and cell-line tests, external HNSC/LUSC response data and selected TCGA associations do not establish prospective cSCC treatment efficacy.
  • The linked correction repairs an ITGB1 plot duplicated from ITGA3 and swapped FigureS4C labels. Authors assert unchanged analyses and conclusions; these were not independently reproduced. Main figures appear corrected, without exact embedded-panel identity proof. Native Figure7 G/H versus narrative F/G references remain unresolved. Published funding and roles do not establish a secret UAP programme.
  • S3 lists AREG with negative average log fold change and adjusted p=1 against normal keratinocytes, but positive change and a small adjusted p against tumour keratinocytes. Signature membership does not mean every gene is significantly elevated against both populations. Native printed zeros and tiny exponents are retained without recalculation or exact-zero probability claims.
