Information-Based Physics and the Influence Network

Knuth develops an influence-network model that conditionally reproduces familiar1+1-dimensional physics relations. Coordinated observers and rate assignments are assumptions. He acknowledges a microscopic coordination problem; gravity extensions remain suggestions. The essay provides no UAP observation or independent empirical validation.

What we checked

Root directly read all11 supplied arXivv1 pages and35,027 extracted characters in four complete returns, viewed all page pixels, and reviewed five numbered diagram groups plus appendix FigureA, equations, three footnotes and17 references. Submission is August15,2013; PDF creation is June20. These are distinct dates. Source bytes and each actual page-return union were verified. Some fonts were substituted during rendering, so exact original appearance and fine-glyph fidelity remain qualified.

Complete supplied eleven-page essay read; external derivations unreviewed

How we check sources

Not checked yet

  • Coordinated-chain and scalar-invariance assumptions support the metric/Lorentz analogues. Average coordination is assumed despite the acknowledged microscopic connectivity mismatch. Full3+1-dimensional dynamics, gravity and empirical validation are not demonstrated.
  • Thirty-five paths are combinatorial possibilities, not experiments. Referenced derivations and laboratory studies were not received or read. Duplicate equation numbering, a repeated subsequence and projection-wording differences remain unrepaired; original history and final versions are gaps.
