SRC/ABL inhibition disrupts CRLF2-driven signaling to induce cell death in B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia
A preclinical leukemia study reports signaling and cell-viability responses to SRC/ABL inhibition. Results vary across selected samples, cell models and treatment conditions. Negative findings, limited sample availability and statistical inconsistencies qualify the claims. The supplied main text and supplement are read; clinical effectiveness and UAP relevance are not established.

All55,765 decoded main XML characters were read in seven complete returns, with five main captions,224 table cells and41 references. Root matched every character and all17 native authors. Five supplied main JPEG figures were viewed, with some fine ticks unresolved. All11 supplement pages were read in five complete returns, totaling23,348 characters; all page pixels, five native figures, four tables and18 references were inspected. Tables contain272 printed physical cells and279 logical grid positions because of merged headers. Duplicate supplement links are one document. The native May1,2018 publication date differs from the May24 PMC release. Main14-page PDF bytes/layout were not received; a semantic page count and screenshot text references earn no pixel credit.
Supplied main text and supplement read; original main layout incomplete
How we check sources
Not checked yet
- Fifteen diagnostic samples include twelve initial network-analysis cases, three longitudinal MRD cases and only one primary viability case. Technical triplicates and dependent cell subsets are not independent patients. Timing, compartments and treatment conditions vary.
- Basal STAT5, aggregate ruxolitinib response and one subset comparison did not reach significance. A low-CRLF2 negative model showed no tested combination effect. Too few cells prevented one MRD network analysis. Pairwise associations are not causal pathway or lineage proof.
- Supplement Figure5’s caption reverses the patient labels printed on its panels. Main captions/methods printp<.5 while the stated alpha is.05; supplement wording differs. WBC units/values, a missing percent sign and an MRD denominator ambiguity remain literal and unresolved.
- Nolan supervised research and disclosed paid Fluidigm consulting. A mandatory additive metadata erratum fixes an empty author array from a parser error; all17 native names were verified and frozen source bytes preserved. It adds no body-reading credit.
- Original main layout, some fine figure glyphs, native version identifier, unshown results, raw FCS, experimental records and code remain unavailable. No code was executed or private patient records collected. Published aggregate findings do not establish clinical efficacy, safety or UAP validation.
