Early reprogramming regulators identified by prospective isolation and mass cytometry
A mouse-cell study associates early reprogramming with a transient marker state, while showing that marker usefulness changes with time and model. Bulk colonies and unique reprogramming events are different outcomes. Limited replication, negative controls and speculative human extension remain explicit. The supplied manuscript text is read; full diagrams, tables and publisher corrections remain incomplete.

All47,924 decoded NIH author-manuscript characters were read in six complete returns, including methods, four main and ten extended figure captions, roles, disclosures and29 references. Root matched every character and six native authors. Three openly offered small publisher figure thumbnails were viewed; fine keys and axes are unresolved. A150-byte repository ZIP contains a zero-byte Figure2 placeholder, which earns no image credit. Original main PDF, full-resolution main/extended figures, DOCX and supplementary Tables1–6 were not received. Electronic date is April1,2015; print date is May21. The observed May20 Figure3g correction and31 publisher references remain separate from the manuscript.

How we check sources
Not checked yet
- Early SSEA1/EpCAM markers did not reliably enrich unique events, although bulk colony results differed. Proliferation can create multiple colonies; neither wells nor colonies automatically count independent cells or successful events.
- Reported plating-adjusted efficiencies are conditional estimates. The Mbd3 model uses CD104 rather than the same CD49d signature. Some rescue, glial and colony assays have one experiment; technical qPCR replicates are not independent biological samples.
- A failed Oct4 probe, nonspecific blot bands and an extended-caption survival exception qualify broad claims. Human extension is speculative. Corrected Figure3g labels and exact publisher/manuscript reference correspondence remain unread.
- All14 full-resolution figures, original PDF, supporting DOCX/tables, raw FCS, microarray records, blots and code remain unreceived. Small thumbnails and captions do not complete them. Nolan’s role includes design, analysis and writing; authors declare no competing financial interests. No clinical or UAP validation follows.
