Estimating time since influenza virus exposure using single-cell proteomic data

Rizzo Nervo, Nolan and colleagues model influenza shedding and time since exposure in two controlled challenge datasets. Preinfection baselines and selected healthy cohorts constrain generalization. Several count, legend, validation-method and error-metric descriptions disagree; this is not a UAP-exposure study.

How we check sources

Not checked yet

  • Most raw numerical matrix cells, analysis notebooks, model reproduction and native main-PDF pagination were not reviewed. Only headers and eight sample rows of the large matrices were individually inspected.

Source limitations

  • Cohort labels/counts, color legends, LOSO versus fivefold procedures, AUC .83 versus .81, and MSE versus root-MSE remain unresolved. Mechanical schema profiling is separate from cellwise reading and independent scientific replication.
