The Edge of Reality — distinct reflow and photographic supplement

This distinct supplied reflow reproduces Hynek and Vallée’s edited discussions and book-family illustrations. It preserves proposed reporting models, ordinary explanations and uncertain witness accounts. Its later image layout does not authenticate missing original photographs, establish independent cases or verify a mechanism.

What we checked

Earlier narrative and qualified reading remain. Two specialists add 43 whole layouts at zero-based 279–321, observed folios 275–317, reaching this retained file’s end. All 322 received positions are documented: 299 modern and 23 legacy with uncertain detail precision. Root reviewed full final analytical packets and independently verified current or retained dated bytes; specialist pixels were not root-viewed. Six chapter 9 notes, speculative models and Appendix A–F were inspected. Vallée’s objections, Hynek’s reporting-selection concession and the Ely account’s lack of physical evidence remain contrary qualifications. Fuhr is one direct event witness; reproduced ground photographs and a sketch are not authenticated craft images. Temperature, duration, family, cattle, police and dog accounts retain conflicts, estimates and relay dependence. LeDonne’s June 6, 1974 letter to Hynek reports a June 4 sighting, June 5 self-initiated Air Force call and June 6 call to Al Chop. FAA was explicitly not contacted. Contacts and sincerity judgments establish no achieved programme access or custody. Gallup belief, awareness and reported sightings have different denominators; Soviet and anonymous religious accounts retain attribution and missing-original gaps. A compiled timetable’s “after 2:00” supplies no AM/PM; its join to Sunday-night wording remains unresolved. The sparse final page contains a historical reporting notice. New views qualify older outside-slice limits through 321; physical-master extent, edition, legacy precision and original-body holds remain. No repeated narrative, independent case, AV, complete-book or truth credit.

How we check sources

Not checked yet

  • This reflow lacks a copyright leaf or established edition identity; its file metadata is not a publication date. Original photographs, folios and Figure 15B punctuation in the separate scan remain unresolved. The supplied .75 ordinate and photo numbers are reproductions in this version, not original negatives or repaired earlier glyphs. Uploader permission and master provenance are unknown.
  • Figure 1’s left fine glyphs are clipped. Figures 2–6 use selected populations and proposed exposure corrections without received raw data or code. The factor-14 and 28,000 extrapolation is conditional. Figure 5’s three cohorts differ, and Figure 6’s inner letter legend remains unknown. Report classifications, unexplained percentages and ordinary causes do not measure extraterrestrial probabilities.
  • The reported 1948 Air Force consultancy approach and private Hastings invitation lack initiating originals and exact channels or dates. Arthur Hastings is distinct from Robert Hastings. Anonymous edited correspondence may be a hoax; taped discussions lack the original audio. These family accounts establish no new programme, custody or achieved access.
  • The Ely interview describes February 14, 1974 overnight travel but uses pseudonyms and an unnamed investigator. Fatigue and brothers’ mutual prompting qualify memory. The maternal voice experience and damage story are relays; no repair inspection, oil result, photograph or recording was received. The October 15, 1973 AVCO story and Phillips compilation remain dependent references, not new independent cases.
  • Figure 10’s caption says 873 but the table and period totals give 878; no correction is inferred. Figures 7–11 use selected report denominators rather than independent populations, and Figure 12’s tallest bars are clipped. Several/many witness categories are not converted to numeric totals. Hypothetical origin odds and President/radio exchanges are not calculated probabilities or actual contacts.
  • The May 1974 interview is authors-arranged and edited, with claimed publication permission but no original tape or our republication rights. Mechanical inspection claims in notes 10–11 admit ordinary wear and power loss; original reports and parts are unreceived. Prompted memory, fatigue, separate lights, uncertain timing and no definite extraterrestrial conclusion remain. Alleged mother/father experiences are relayed, not independent testimony.
  • The reflow prints April 19, 1959 for Gill’s first sighting, while the scan prints April 9. Quoted shared observation, uncertain altitude/material and differing drawings remain. Figure 14 is Cruttwell’s imaginative composite, not an eyewitness photograph. Menzel’s Venus interpretation and the authors’ timing/terrain rebuttal have no newly checked ephemeris. The private Vallée-home session’s exact date and initiating invitation are unknown.
  • Reported conversations, official titles, translated statements, press and astronaut compilations are dependent book accounts. Names, exact contact dates, original radar logs, correspondence and recordings remain unverified where absent. Private initiatives and proposed Presidential or government conversations do not prove achieved access, a programme or working technology. Earlier rendition-date and photographic-original gaps remain.
  • Galley’s dialogue date March 1974 conflicts with note 4’s February 21, 1974 broadcast. Hynek reports the unnamed Canberra RAAF aide initiating an aside, with flight and tower observations relayed. New Guinea witness interviews used an interpreter and Cruttwell; mistaken police identity is no appointment. Armstrong allegedly asleep and no photograph qualify generalized astronaut stories. Reported Ubatuba purity comparable to ordinary material remains adverse book testimony, without original laboratory results.
  • Anonymous warnings, displayed credentials and alleged confiscations remain nested relays, without authenticated visitors or agency records. Hypothetical Presidential briefing and budget questions are not actual invitations or awards. Responsibility passing, sincere skepticism, personal-bias objections and absent technological spinoffs qualify secrecy arguments. Robertson/Roberson spelling and an unlabeled colon-only speaker remain unresolved.
  • Hynek’s repeated Air Force indexing requests establish no adoption or database receipt. Vallée’s catalogue exchanges, including Ballester-Olmos in 1971, reuse and revise shared reports; summaries and raw-page counts are not independent verified cohorts. Unnamed civilian organisations reportedly requested Hynek’s computing consultancy; exact names, dates, acceptance and payment are absent. Historical cost estimates are not present prices or grants. Calgary photo authenticity is explicitly unknown; model imitation and conditional comparisons remain.
  • Photographic comparisons and Poher’s distance and magnetic extrapolations remain conditional, without received images, calibration, raw data, code or replication. An official title and requested support establish no award or access. WIND’s March 31, 1974 edited discussion is no acquired broadcast. Garrett had not heard the tapes and acknowledges fabrication; sincerity and alleged professional acceptance do not establish accuracy. Credential and police-department claims lack originals.
  • Betty distinguishes Barney stopping the car with its motor running from a later engine-failure recall phase. December 1962 versus a two-year first-visit paraphrase remains unresolved. Alleged tape holders and later permission for Hynek and Vallée’s approximately 90-minute session do not establish our receipt, custody or republication rights. Further private discussion and a UN exchange are proposals, not achieved appointments or tasking. The French-minister statement has a blank page cross-reference; note bodies 1–3 after 119 remain outside this slice.
  • Betty Hill’s Portsmouth report is a relay, while she denies another personal sighting. CUFOS hotline and law-enforcement number distribution lack logs or tasking records. Fontes’s 1954 account is nested testimony. Pascagoula duration, figure count, entry and distance remain uncertain; Calvin’s alleged unconsciousness does not corroborate entry. Sincerity and a reported polygraph establish no occurrence. Clipped speaker prefixes at 124–125 and 127 remain unknown.
  • Cade reportedly agreed to Hynek’s idea and invited friends to a private Sunday gathering in Britain; prior-Wednesday contact is relayed, exact date and Derek’s surname unknown. Others did not see the object and some pretended. The earlier slice ended at 135; the continuation adds differing vague drawings. Historical brain analogies and proposed questionnaires are unvalidated. Procedures are excluded. Eight chapter-4 notes were viewed at 137; original tapes, records and cited bodies remain unreceived.
  • The respondent slept during the initial descent, relays the officer’s actions and reports no tracks or observed departure. Two companions affirm and two deny an alleged shooting; private silence is no government order. Poor visibility, fatigue, ordinary crash or silo interpretations and missing clock records remain. Interview date, respondent, companions, officer, transcript and records are unresolved. Hynek’s Kreskin guest account lacks exact invitation wording, date and original recording.
  • Three unnamed visitors reportedly questioned the respondent at work and examined boots at home the next day around noon. He expressly denies credentials or government representation; Air Force or intelligence identity was his inference. Their reported receipt of information supplies no original police report or institutional authority. The uncertain 1961 car recollection does not date the event. The earlier review stopped at 166; continuation 167 now supplies a reported warning and no licence-plate observation. Visitor identity and authority remain unverified. Procedural details are excluded.
  • At 167 the respondent reports the unnamed questioner warning against speaking further, but says no similar men approached again and they never asked about the alleged shooting. Their government identity remains his inference. No exact calendar date, report or credentials were received; the uncertain car year supplies no date. Figure 16 at 174 shows row counts totaling 46 versus its 100-landings caption, without an explained subset, raw case data or hoax control.
  • Vallée’s unnamed historian conversation contains nested cultural relays; public family dialogue is edited and adult-directed, without original drawings or audio. Hynek says he asked unnamed Jesuits about angels and later interviewed Simonton, took photos and carried a pancake to Dayton. Ordinary-grain analysis is reported, with no original laboratory report, chain or current sample. Investigator belief shifts and single-witness reservations remain. Struve’s reply now completes at 183; note 5 names Otto Struve. Originals remain unreceived.
  • Hynek’s private graduate-student exchange with Otto Struve has no exact date or original. The Armstrong-to-Hynek NASA-no-plan relay and uncertain Rand-or-Brookings reference are no received agency report. Vallée says he gave Condon pilots’ names and numbers in 1966 and urged calls, without follow-up; original correspondence is absent. Hastings calls Iron Mountain a put-on or scenario and does not know its funding.
  • The unnamed doctor’s UN affiliation is reported employment, not UFO tasking. Villager accounts of Saladare on August 7, 1970 are distinct from the doctor’s three later visits and photographs. Four damage images establish no craft, temperature or cause; original letter, negatives and newspapers are absent. Clearwater’s 80 solicited responses are self-selected; raw letters, group counts and scoring are absent. Rough 2,000-foot spacing versus 10,000-foot separation, and 37% overall accurate versus 35% in each sex group, remain unresolved.
  • The Capella sample’s 30 reports and 74 people are dependent, self-selected accounts, not 74 independent cases or a validated population denominator. Powers’s pilot calls, newspaper appeals and an unnamed Air Force response lack original logs. Fate article identity is unresolved. Adamski’s alleged affiliation, affidavits, photo denials and letters are book relays; Hynek’s private cafe visit establishes no requested photo receipt or government tasking. Aurora date and official-role conflicts remain unverified.
  • Mekis’s alleged sentence, offences, telegrams, money and offices have no newly acquired court or financial records. Anonymous people and H*** are not identified. Private academic gatherings, Menzel correspondence and occasional Ruppelt conversations establish no classified briefing, programme, custody or achieved access. The seven notes supply citations, not their original bodies. The earlier slice stopped before 215; 215–278 now joins the reviewed whole layouts.
  • Hynek’s reported 1952 survey and Battelle contract have no received contract identifier, amount, coded report or raw sample. Restricted field requests, an anonymous commander he never met and poor notes qualify institutional recollections. Whipple’s satellite-tracking request is ordinary scientific work. Conditional assistance with Vallée and Powers did not become travel or payment; the Berkeley panel invitation was cancelled. No original invitation, leaflet or operational record was received.
  • Vallée’s 1967 Condon briefing appeared open-minded; he expressly reports no observed rigging evidence. Reported delivery of 3,000 cards to Saunders belongs to a shared corpus, not 3,000 new independent cases. Feared bias, an early board outline, the later Low memo and a hypothetical presidential referral retain separate attribution and chronology. Hastings’s Humphrey story has a forgotten informant and a competing NICAP explanation; no received original confirms it.
  • Eleven chapter notes reproduce citations or quotations, including an untitled July 1953 JOSA item still unjoined to S870’s April item, a January 26, 1967 newspaper report and an August 9, 1966 Low memo through Saunders. The earlier slice lacked chapter 9 note bodies; six have now been inspected at 288. Hypothetical programmes, funding and laboratory scenarios are not reported achieved tasking. Parsons’s special-mission reply has unknown date, channel and respondent; no UFO connection or classified access is established.
  • All received reflow positions are documented, while 23 legacy positions lack uniform recorded detail precision. Fuhr’s single event account, Phillips excerpts, Morier’s later trace inspection and family or animal stories remain dependent. Figures 17–19 show reproduced ground areas; Figure 20 is an attributed sketch. The rectangular feature within Figure 18 has unknown origin. Original negatives, tape, police instructions, slides and calibrated data were not received. Introduction 43 versus interview 38 degrees remains unresolved.
  • LeDonne initiated reporting and explanatory calls; an anonymous Air Force spokesman referred him to FAA, which he did not call. Al Chop’s October 18, 1973 Army-helicopter story is a multistep relay, separate from the local police story two months earlier. Reproduced June 6 letter, professional roles and alleged sincerity assessments do not authenticate originals or programmes. Timetable “after 2:00” lacks AM/PM, so the Sunday-night join is unknown rather than a proved contradiction.
  • Appendices C–F reproduce Gallup survey claims, anonymous Soviet accounts, a Name Withheld religious letter and a radar-development chronology. Sample weights, main sample size, original questionnaires, logs, translations, signed letters and cited reports remain absent. Awareness, belief and self-reported sightings are distinct. Sparse final leaves were actually viewed; reaching retained file end establishes no physical-master completeness. Historical reporting contact details remain private; no outreach occurred.
