Fast radio bursts: the observational case for a Galactic origin

Dan Maoz, Abraham Loeb, Yossi Shvartzvald, Monika Sitek, Michael Engel, Flavien Kiefer, Marcin Kiraga, Amir Levi, Tsevi Mazeh, Michał Pawlak, R. Michael Rich, Lev Tal-Or, Lukasz Wyrzykowski. arxiv.org. September 8, 2015.

Maoz, Loeb and colleagues compare optical variability with historical radio-burst fields and propose stellar counterparts. Their association calculations depend on selection and assumptions; simultaneous counterpart evidence and raw-data replication are missing.

SETI via Leakage from Light Sails in Exoplanetary Systems

James Guillochon, Abraham Loeb. arxiv.org. September 3, 2015.

Guillochon and Loeb model possible leakage from hypothetical light-sail propulsion systems. Simulated observing windows depend on assumed inhabited systems and operating choices; the paper supplies no detection or deployed apparatus.

The Six Infrared Dots in a Declassified UAP Video is a Flock of Birds

Avi Loeb. avi-loeb.medium.com.

Loeb reports a coauthored analysis interpreting six infrared dots as birds, using flicker and parallax. His categorical title sits alongside an explicit need for missing telemetry and unredacted footage before conclusive results. This essay concerns the previously discussed six-dot study; its figures, paper and underlying records were not reviewed here. No new private briefing or government approach is reported.

The Afterglow of a UAP Congressional Briefing

Avi Loeb. avi-loeb.medium.com. May 2, 2025.

Loeb recounts his May2025 congressional presentation and a Pentagon visit the previous day while advocating scientific UAP research. He allows that all UAPs might prove human-made. His funding proposal, technology speculation and planned instruments do not establish an awarded budget, recovered hardware or secret programme access.

Confirmation of Interstellar Object: memorandum for NASA Science Mission Directorate

John E. Shaw (typed signer in author-hosted reproduction). lweb.cfa.harvard.edu. March 1, 2022.

This author-hosted reproduction presents a Space Command memorandum to NASA. Its first paragraph attributes 99.999% confidence to the Siraj–Loeb paper; the second reports Mozer’s qualitative confirmation of a sufficiently accurate velocity estimate. It supplies no raw data, numerical uncertainty analysis or researcher classified access. The page concerns the same meteor chain, rather than a new detection or technological-origin finding.

Author-hosted public reproduction read; official authentication unresolved

The 2019 Discovery of a Meteor of Interstellar Origin

Amir Siraj, Abraham Loeb. arxiv.org. April 15, 2019.

Siraj and Loeb infer an interstellar meteor trajectory from catalogue inputs and an assumed error model. The paper attributes uncertainty information to Heavner and quotes a reported DoD statement, with Worden, Daniels, Shaw, Mozer, an anonymous analyst and Hurd credited for distinct clarification roles. Original correspondence and classified data were not received. Conditional confidence, ordinary bound comparators, population assumptions and mass-budget tension remain. Government review does not establish researcher classified access, artificial origin or recovered material.
