Records of the Secretary of Defense (RG 330)

The National Archives describes JIOA’s establishment, Overcast and Paperclip duties, and dissolution in1962. Its foreign-scientist finding aid supplies names and box locations rather than dossier contents. The page explicitly notes that von Braun’s dossier was never transferred. Archival mention, missing entries and ordinary recruitment history do not establish criminal guilt, a UFO programme or a specific family’s later account.

How we check sources

Not checked yet

  • All186 boxes and individual dossier contents remain unreceived and unread. Thirty-eight finding-aid layouts and exhaustive fine glyphs remain unreviewed. Physical rows include repetitions and blank fields; they are not a verified count of unique persons, complete dossiers or UAP witnesses.
  • No Kammler entry in this aid does not prove absence across all archives. The Vowe, Theodor K., box174 entry is a location lead; family identity and the Roswell story require separate evidence.
  • The release notice covers varied people and preserves whole files. Mention does not establish guilt. Official agency history and dissolution do not establish covert continuation, recovered technology or achieved access to a secret programme.
