Burt Rutan Intro for John Alexander’s UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities

Rutan reports a solitary light sighting and an unsuccessful private propulsion approach, followed by introductions to Puthoff, Alexander and Bigelow. He says Rich never hinted extraterrestrial matters to him, Corso’s reverse-engineering account was unconvincing, and his routine USAF advisory work brought no ET-hardware briefing. These are bounded findings from his experience; they do not establish what other officials knew.

What we checked

All five author-hosted PDF pages and 141 extracted lines were read, including the signed conclusion and native page images. Rutan describes contributing after reading an early Alexander draft. This is a complete supplied contribution; identity with the final published preface remains unknown. The PDF’s March 2011 metadata is an artifact timestamp rather than a verified publication or authorship date.

How we check sources

Not checked yet

  • Final-book preface alignment, copyright and ISBN leaves, original publication date and edition pagination remain unverified. The Alexander book stays partial; its previously reviewed Chapter 1 is separate.
  • The sighting’s range and size depend on assumed stationarity; calibrated timing, geometry, weather and instrument records are absent. His electrical-ion explanation is a hypothesis.
  • Original appointment and tasking records, compartment coverage, correspondence, interview recordings and requested Corso documents were not inspected. Private introductions and advisory employment do not establish hidden-programme access.
