Chemical Classification of Spherules Recovered From the Pacific Ocean Site of the CNEOS 2014-01-08 (IM1) Bolide
Loeb and colleagues classify magnetic spherules collected near the proposed IM1 site. They explicitly cannot prove that the material came from IM1; the reported BeLaU proportion is partly extrapolated, and terrestrial alternatives remain.
