What we checked
All698 received1994 Wheeler native leaves have now been viewed; this batch adds64 specialist leaves606–669. Root reviewed complete analytical packets and exact file pins. Carlos Discussion ends printed595, Arthur begins596 and concludes625; Chapter16 begins626. This closes native-layout coverage only. The received scan ends mid-paragraph at printed682. Missing1995 printed422, edition collation and original records remain unresolved; no additional complete book is claimed. Arthur self-calls Mack in January1993 after an unnamed woman’s suggestion; Donna later encourages contact without an established identity join. August1993 Arthur-to-Pam follow-up is private. Karen initiates the1989 memory exchange; Pam’s call is about four weeks after meeting. Claimed1967/1964/1963 dates, age-nine and twenty-five-year chronology conflict. Family disagreement, prior reciprocal recall, hypnosis, models, ordinary lights and dreams constrain independence; contact originals remain absent. Mack reports13 selected book cases among76 people without a received roster or representative sampling claim. He discusses investigator-created coherence, co-creative changes and developed perception rather than recovered fact, and acknowledges selection/growth bias. Assertions of avoiding leading questions are self-reports. Participant certainty, emotional intensity and shared themes do not independently establish an external cause; original session records remain absent.

How we check sources
Not checked yet
- Mack’s academic consultation with Thomas and Jehane Kuhn has no exact contact date or original record. Daniel Brown’s personal communication is dated18October1993, with apparent recipient Mack and unknown initiator/medium. Carpenter’s session-comparison claims and the author’s hypnosis/safety/memory interpretations remain relays and inference. Suggestion, self-selection, distress and lack of physical verification remain explicit; clinical procedures and patient records are excluded.
- Pam Kasey’s private follow-up role and1992 training supported by Robert Bigelow and organized by Carpenter, Hopkins and Jacobs do not establish government sponsorship, official tasking or agency access. Shared private support groups leave independence untested. The page43 cross-reference intent remains unknown.
- The Linda Cortile November1989 account is a nested unnamed-woman-to-Hopkins-to-Mack relay, with no exact report date or original interview. Mack’s own conversation is distinct from relayed fathers’ observations. He states that independent witnessing is rare and insufficient for firm proof; absence does not establish abduction as its cause. An involved roommate’s independence is questioned, Peter’s friends did not verify his absence, and Catherine’s next-morning media account has an unreceived original. Subjective inclusion and sleep/dream alternatives remain explicit.
- The author reports no evidenced alien-induced genetic alteration or physician-documented fetus-disappearance link. Perceived helper roles are not verified credentials. A Hopkins wrong-car story is dated December1992, with apparent recipient Mack but unknown initiator and original. Mack’s claimed object study and unremarkable pathology/isotopes lack received specimens, original tests and custody records.
- Manufacturing and sleep/dream alternatives remain open. Ed reportedly initiated a July1992 call to Mack and met him on23July; the later October year is chronology inference. The now-reviewed ChapterThree preserves differing conscious and hypnosis accounts, an editorial sequencing warning and unresolved catastrophe meaning. Mack’s consistency preference is an interpretation, with no independent recall validation.
- Sheila’s published accounts retain sleep, flashing-light, peer, media and draft-review dependencies. Dr.G warns hypnosis can extend fantasy and improvement does not confirm abduction. Drs.G/R deny attributed statements. Referral and letter dates are precise where printed; later1992 dates are contextual. Mack’s India/Tibetan meeting in April1992 and Grand Rounds are author-described academic contacts, with unknown initiators or originals; no government access follows.
- The received1994 scan ends mid-paragraph at zero695/printed682; continuation is absent from this receipt. Complete native coverage cannot restore it. The1995 printed422 and exact edition collation remain unresolved. Original recordings, journals, letters, clinical/sleep-study reports, identities, media, physical fidelity and source-host permission remain unreviewed. Copyrighted bodies and images stay private.
- New pages preserve changed recall, family and provider prompting, dream and ordinary-light alternatives, author interpretations and dependent testimony. September–November sessions have1992 contextual dating; journals, letters and later editorial responses have separate dates. Reported initially mild abnormal then normal EEGs are author-relayed accounts, without original charts or causal validation. Family agreement, symptom change and interpreted consistency do not independently confirm events.
- Scott’s media/group contacts and self-requested December16,1992 review retain dependent accounts; December21 is arithmetic inference, letter/group years contextual. Double-agent language describes perceived dual identity; a desired world-leaders meeting is a forecast. Jerry self-calls after media exposure; family sleep/nightmare alternatives, unvalidated cards and clock/device originals remain open. Mack-requested Dr.C evaluation is an author-mediated report, with contextual1993 dates and no received original. No official recruitment or clinical validation follows.
- Jerry’s necklace account depends on his mother’s later report and his identification, with no artifact measurements or custody. The unnamed church official is a religious role in a nested relay, with no government affiliation established. Recalled childhood/adult confusion, uncertain1975 timing and approximate names remain explicit. An observed scar does not verify its attributed cause; clinical originals, ordinary trauma alternatives and adverse other-provider experiences remain unreviewed. Session dates retain their printed or contextual status; no genetic or clinical validation follows.
- Catherine’s March1991 self-call, Mack’s subsequent follow-up and Susan’s call are private contacts with missing originals. Media, books, repeated recall, blue floodlights, half-asleep context, nonabduction at15or16 and uncertain contact lenses remain ordinary alternatives or unresolved details. An imaginary spy and hypothetical police comparison are not actual agency contacts. The Catherine drawing is reproduced testimony; perceived bodily sampling supplies no specimen, clinical examination or laboratory confirmation.
- Catherine’s friend-to-therapist referral and Mack’s roughly week-later follow-up are private contacts with missing originals. UFO books, television, repeated sessions, fatigue, half-sleep/paralysis and changing recall remain dependence or ordinary context. July15/27,1992 are explicit; October26’s year is contextual. Egyptian names/periods conflict. Perceived corporate rooms and support-group interpretations establish no official briefing, programme or independent witnesses; original tapes and broadcasts were not reviewed.
- Joe’s August1992 letter, private referrals and Mack-arranged Cambridge Hospital seminar are author-reported contacts with missing originals. January4,1993 is explicit; October9/November10/November30 and mid-February/March1 have contextual years. Family doubts, dreams, LSD and prior spiritual predictions remain ordinary context. Double-agent, UN and undercover-asylum comparisons do not establish actual agency roles; alleged implants and past-life identity lack examined objects or historical records.
- Sara’s request letter, later thanks and meeting are private contacts with relative dates. Miguel, Annie, a girlfriend and a roommate are relayed through Sara/Mack, without received direct witness records. Sleep, dream, spiritual/provider context, a mirror collision and her expressed doubts remain. Mack’s questioning and reassurance are dependencies. Species-merger or exchange-program language is attributed interpretation, with no measured biology or institutional invitation.
- Paul introduced himself at a New Hampshire UFO conference; its date is unknown. His call to Ms. T is participant-initiated and relatively dated. Her reported observations reach Mack through Paul after questioning, without an original interview. Prior therapy, marijuana, bodily sensations and author interpretation remain ordinary context or dependencies. No original clinical record, measured specimen, government approach or confirmed external cause was received; the earlier partial chapter is now complete through its supplied Discussion, with original gaps retained.
- Paul’s Roswell1947, age-nine and nineteen-years-before-birth statements conflict; Mack’s response is speculative. Family denial and relayed childhood stories, sleep-transition immobility with no observed being, media imagery and provider interpretation constrain independence. Dreams, spiritual identity and reported healing lack original interview, clinical or physical verification.
- Eva initiates contact after a newspaper article. October15,1992 interview and January18,1993 regression are explicit; other journal/session dates have qualified contextual years. Mack’s support-group invitation, group calls, letters and a Purim gift are private contacts. Earlier hypnosis, media, sleep, tape replay, provider influence, maternal denial and uncertain husband claims remain dependencies. Mission/past-life or military-employment language does not establish official UFO tasking.
- Eva’s later never-feared wording conflicts with earlier fear; alleged implants lack examined specimens. Her advice and letter reach Mack through the author, without originals. Printed422 belongs to1994 Wheeler and does not repair the1995 gap. Plate424 is attributed to Julia and Dave, separately from Eva; claimed independent production is unverified. Perceived instruments are not authenticated devices or measured engineering.
- Dave initiates a June1992 referral through Master Joe, Mack’s assistant and Julia; his letter requests hypnosis. First meeting August13,1992 is explicit; July23 call year is contextual. Dave is distinct from Eva’s husband David. Teacher/family/friends and bus-news claims are relayed; childhood accident, sleep, prior interest and regression are ordinary context or dependencies. Missing letters, interviews, news/date/route records prevent independent corroboration; no secret agency approach is documented.
- Dave’s brother/friend sighting, later family arrival and Jerry’s denial of abduction remain distinct. Jet, dreams, Communion, prior beliefs and provider influence constrain independence. July8’s year is contextual1992; first hypnosis August14,1992 is explicit. Caroline’s account reaches Mack through Dave and Julia. Photos, letters and witness originals are absent; a ranger’s occupational title does not establish an official agency approach.
- Dave’s March11/12 sessions have contextual1993 dates; Kishwar Shirali’s role is author-described. Age-twelve versus age-thirteen recall, motorcycle counts, father’s dream explanation and later naming remain unresolved. Past-life scout/spy stories are session imagery; lottery353 and possible eye deferment supply an ordinary Vietnam explanation. Mack relies on report and affect; Dave’s Discussion is now complete, with no authenticated military or clinical records.
- Peter initiates contact after a student relays Mack’s Cambridge Hospital lecture, January1992; January23 meeting is contextual. Seven regressions February1992–April1993 are reported. First selected session dates have contextual1992 years. Sleep, owl reinterpretation, media, therapy and prior beliefs constrain independence. The quoted Connecticut woman did not check the house: her inference that Peter was aboard is not a verified disappearance. Original interview, logs and recordings are absent.
- Mack requests assessment by Dr.Steven Shapse at Harvard/McLean; May and early-June year is contextual1992. Findings and replies reach the reader through Mack, without the original report or verified credentials. Absence of a reported diagnosis does not confirm encounters. June15 MIT panel with David Pritchard, August15 Cherniack filming and December2 Harvard talk have contextual years and missing originals; these are professional/media contacts, with no programme access established.
- Tape replay, filming and reported participant permission do not supply recordings or permission for this project. Religious visitors’ identities and affiliations are unverified. Peter’s January14,1993 fifth session is explicit; letter dates retain contextual or arithmetic qualifications. Craig’s Nantucket sounds are a relay with cricket alternatives. Fear/violation and benevolence/willingness conflict; dimensional, military and energy imagery supplies no measured mechanism or official tasking. Peter Discussion is now reviewed through printed540; original records remain absent.
- Peter session chronology includes January14/February11 context1993, April22 tied to April1993, and later August26 context1993; original session records are absent. June1992 speaking and August1992 Nantucket accounts remain relayed. Forecasts2010 versus before2002, inevitable versus negotiable futures, and shifting identities remain contradictory. Provider encouragement and sharing other clients’ accounts create dependencies; regression is not independent event proof.
- Carlos coauthored this chapter. Dr James Ward is an assigned alias. Prior17 hours plus six with Mack differs from almost30 without resolution. July1992 Carlos-to-Mack letter followed two unnamed referrals; original letter is absent. A November1970 Anglican priest art invitation and unnamed British author invitation are reported personal contacts. Art, religious and political participation do not establish government approaches or programme access.
- Iona encounter April15,1990 and November1992 exhibition are distinct reported dates. Hypnotic ordering is not reliable chronology; conscious and recovered memory are difficult to separate. Mack describes slides; two unnamed physics colleagues’ comments are relayed, with no original photographs or analyses received. Meteor/solar-pillar alternatives and Carlos/Mack interpretive disagreement remain preserved. No photographic or clinical authentication.
- Carlos attributes recovery to light, painting, relaxation and gardening; ordinary surgery and earlier workplace-asbestos attribution remain part of the account. No chart, outcome verification or causal evidence is received. August1992 sessions and September16,1992 writing are explicit; a later letter is only relatively dated. Mack acknowledges incoherent hypnotic speech and inability to separate metaphor/myth from literal physical reality. Original tapes and correspondence are missing.
- Closing discussion treats spiritual growth, identity and reported work changes as selected participant/provider interpretations. Cited Zimmerman, Toulmin, McKenna, Mack, Erikson, Zock, Downing, Sheldrake and Tarnas bodies remain unreviewed here. Historical SETI funding commentary, government secrecy opinions and White House scenarios are not actual official approaches. Jean Huston’s September1993 Chicago remark is relayed; Dalai Lama attribution is unanchored.
- Mack acknowledges no genetic evidence and unresolved material reality. Anne is explicitly pseudonymous, outside the case series; drawing627 has an illegible cross-reference and no received original/date/identity. Ecological and aggressive/deceptive alternatives remain unresolved. The Nantucket executive speaks directly to Mack but relays the underlying event. Catherine’s January1993 regression dates the session, not her claimed event. Herman1992/Crawford1993 bodies remain unread; dreams, delayed recall and family strain remain alternatives. No clinical or physical causation is verified.
